Pep Guardiola has now taken charge of 300 Premier League matches in his incredibly successful spell as City manager.

He reached the landmark with Sunday's 2-0 victory at Nottingham Forest.

The Catalan has won five titles in seven seasons and is currently going for a sixth league success since arriving in Manchester.

Should we claim top spot again at the end of this campaign, it will be a fourth straight top-flight title - a feat which no side has ever achieved in the history of English football.

With 16 major honours, Guardiola is already the most successful manager in the history of the Club.

There's also no doubt that Guardiola's City have been the dominant force in the country since he landed on these shores.

In fact, City have picked up 54 more Premier League points than anyone else over the course of those nearly eight seasons.

Guardiola's team have claimed 704 points from 300 games, with Liverpool next on 650 after 31 matches.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are next but way back in the mid-500s.

Our goal difference also far outstrips any of our rivals, with a positive of 494. That has come having scored 741 times and conceded just 247.

Liverpool are again second in this metric, but are 129 back on 364.

After Sunday's victory at Nottingham Forest, Guardiola has now won 221 of his 300 games in the Premier League, at a win percentage of 73.6%.

That far outshines the win percentage of any of the rest of the league's greatest coaches, with Alex Ferguson second on 65.2% of games won.

West Ham, Arsenal and Burnley have been on the wrong end of the scoreline against the most times, having lost to Pep's side 13 times each.

Watford have conceded the most goals against us however, with the Blues netting 41 times in the league against the Hornets since the summer of 2016.

We have also scored 40 times against each of Brighton, Burnley and West Ham.

Raheem Sterling has been our top scorer in the Premier League under Pep, converting 85 chances.

Sergio Aguero is next on 82, then come Kevin De Bruyne (61), Gabriel Jesus (58) and Erling Haaland (56).

Ederson has been Guardiola's most used player in the Premier League, playing 247 of the 300 matches.

Bernardo Silva (229), De Bruyne (228), Sterling (194) and Kyle Walker (193) make up the top five.

Guardiola is the 19th manager to hit 300 Premier League games and the fifth with just one club, after Arsene Wenger with Arsenal, Ferguson with Manchester United, David Moyes with Everton and Jurgen Klopp with Liverpool.

Congratulations to Pep and his team on this latest incredible landmark.
