Manchester City supporters have been greeted with the sight of Oscar Bobb for the first time since his horror leg break prior to the start of the ongoing Premier League season.

The Norway international was arguably the leading star from Manchester City’s pre-season tour of the United States, having been granted a free run at the right-wing role whilst more senior players remained on holiday following international commitments.

With goals and assists to his name, as well as a vital assist in the FA Community Shield, there was an expectation that Bobb would start for Manchester City in their opening Premier League game of the season against Chelsea.

However, an entirely accidental incident in training ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge in August resulted in the 21-year-old fracturing a bone in his leg resulting in surgery and a lengthy lay-off.

And for the first time since failing to make the Manchester City squad on the opening weekend of the new season via his hugely unfortunate injury in training, Oscar Bobb has returned to duties for the club as he jets off to Abu Dhabi this week.

It is understood that the Norway international will be the first-team guest present on Manchester City’s Premier League trophy tour as the top-flight crown parades its way across the globe landing in the home nation of the club’s owners this weekend.

Manchester City’s global trophy tour parade’s their English Premier League crown all over the world, celebrating the remarkable success of Pep Guardiola and his players claiming a fourth consecutive title.

That is a feat that has never been achieved before in the history of the English game, and as such Manchester City have deemed it necessary to mark in the most stylish format, with the trophy present for fans to see and take pictures with all over the globe.

Alongside a visit to Abu Dhabi this weekend, the Premier League trophy has also been present in the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Japan, India, Brazil, and Canada, before returning for a second visit to the States in the middle of December.
