There were plenty of standout players in MLS this week. Lionel Messi powered Inter Miami to a thrilling comeback in Philadelphia, Patrick Agyemang bagged a brace in a win over Columbus, Brian White continued to shine.
But amid all of that, one player stood out from the pack.

The Mexican winger has taken MLS by storm since joining league newcomers San Diego FC this past winter. The former PSV Eindhoven and Napoli star has 11 goal contributions in 12 games this season and has been a driving force in San Diego's rise to prominence.
Against the LA Galaxy on Saturday, Lozano was man possessed as San Diego earned a narrow win in front of a packed house at Snapdragon Stadium.
Not only did the Mexican put in a major shift defensively, but he popped up in the dying seconds with the winning goal to send San Diego into second place in the Western Conference.
You just can't beat this kind of contribution from your star-man.
