Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund has ovewrtaken Joshua Zirkzee as Inter Milan’s top target at striker this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report, however, that the Nerazzurri must convince United on a loan deal.

One thing that is certain is that Inter will have to shake up their attack.

Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa will be on their way out from the San Siro. Both are on contracts that expire at the end of the month.

Moreover, the future of Mehdi Taremi at Inter is also uncertain.

And the priority is clear: Inter want to freshen up the attack with younger signings.

Reportedly, Inter have sounded out a move for Manchester United Joshua Zirkzee. Despite a less-than-stellar season at Old Trafford, he still has the backing of the Nerazzurri management based on his time at Bologna.

However, according to the Corriere, it is a different former Serie A striker who Inter actually prefer. And it is a player who is a teammate of Zirkzee’s at United.

The Red Devils signed Ramus Hojlund from Atalanta in the summer of 2023.

However, in his two seasons at Old Trafford, the Dane has never recaptured his form from his La Dea days.

Nevertheless, Inter are still very keen on Hojlund. Therefore, report the Corriere, the Nerazzurri will go after him this summer.

However, Inter would need Manchester United to open up to letting the 22-year-old leave on loan, whether it’s with a purchase option or obligation.

Meanwhile, the Corriere report that Inter also want Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny. However, they won’t break the bank to sign the Frenchman.
