There has been one extra key detail revealed by a Chelsea journalist this week on the Blues attempts to sign a new striker.
This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season.
One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.
Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.
Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.
The summer is going to be pretty crazy for Chelsea as they look to make some more new signings, with a new striker being the priority.
Our own writer Simon Phillips has a huge sourced transfer news updates article on new strikers, covering new info on Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, Hugo Ekitike, Liam Delap, and more.

Phillips reveals and interesting bit of info in the article on his Substack site on Delap.
He says:
“We have some further info to provide on Liam Delap to begin with.
“As reported yesterday, Chelsea are still pushing on Delap and are right there with Manchester United attempting to lure him this summer. Delap will make his final decision after the weekend.
“SPTC sources can confirm that Chelsea definitely held fresh talks with Delap and have scheduled more. One key extra detail from yesterday is that we are now willing to offer a bit more wages than we initially offered to help persuade him.
“The Manchester thing is actually true we have since heard via sources, he does ideally want to live there. But it’s not the be all and end all and he’s been willing and open to speaking with Chelsea and other clubs not in Manchester as well.”
