Official: referee Kruzliak appointed for Inter vs Feyenoord in Champions League | OneFootball

UEFA have appointed Ivan Kruzliak as the referee for Tuesday’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg between Inter and Feyenoord.

The Nerazzurri host the Dutch side at San Siro on Tuesday after a 2-0 victory in the first leg in the Netherlands earlier this week.

Slovak referee Kruzliak will officiate the upcoming San Siro meeting, helped by assistants Branislav Hancko and Jan Pozor. Peter Kralović, also from Slovakia, will be the fourth official, while the Germans Christian Dingert and Benjamin Brand will be in charge of VAR, with the latter serving as Assistant Video Referee Assistant.

Kruzliak, born on March 24, 1984, in Bratislava, is an experienced official who became an international FIFA referee in 2011.

He has taken charge of several UEFA competitions, including the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League but his international assignments include World Cup qualifiers, European Championship qualifiers, and UEFA Nations League fixtures.

In the 2024-25 Champions League season, Kruzliak officiated two league stage matches: Atletico Madrid-RB Leipzig and Brest-Bayer Leverkusen.

In May 2024 he was the fourth official in the Europa League Final that Atalanta won 3-0 against Bayer Leverkusen.
