Pointers as to availability for this Manchester United match and beyond.

Official Newcastle United injury (and illness…) update from Jason Tindall ahead of Leicester Manchester United at home on Sunday afternoon – 11 April 2025:

(***)Jason Tindall explaining why he has been taking media duties on Friday morning:

“He’s been really poorly in the last couple of days but we’ve been in daily contact.

“We’ve been speaking three or four times a day so it’s not affected any of the preparations.

“We’ve still got a couple of days and I’m sure he’ll be fine for the weekend.”

Jason Tindall on Anthony Gordon:

“He’s had a decent week with the physios.

“He was back out on grass for a session yesterday [Thursday] so we’ll assess him today to see how he’s responded to that then we’ll have to make a late call on whether he’s available for Sunday.”

Jason Tindall also confirmed that Alexander Isak has trained as normal this week and is set to be available against Manchester United.
