Eddie Howe hoping to see his team make it fourteen wins in seventeen games, in all competitions.
However, on this occasion, fair to say we ‘might’ all take a draw.
A Newcastle United win would ensure staying top five and could potentially take United as high as third.

Official Newcastle United injury update from Eddie Howe ahead of Liverpool on Wednesday – 25 February 2025:
Sandro Tonali – Eddie Howe says that the midfielder came through Sunday fine and that his is available against Liverpool, following hamstring concerns that kept him out of training for a number of days last week.
Sven Botman – Eddie Howe stating that the defender is very close to a return, is improving quickly from his knee issue. With a late decision to be taken on whether he makes the matchday squad against Liverpool, or whether the weekend against Brighton on Sunday will see him return.
Joelinton – A very similar situation to Botman, with the Brazil international pushing for a return to action and a late decision to be made on Wednesday’s matchday squad, Joelinton close to a return.
Great news on all three players, who could be key to the rest of the season, as United compete on three fronts.
As for Jamaal Lascelles, Eddie Howe revealed ahead of the Forest match that the defender was out on the grass now working with the physios. However, it will be towards the end of the season before he could potentially return to action.
So, it looks like only Lascelles definitely ruled out for Liverpool, with Tonali fine, whilst late decisions to be made on Botman and Joelinton’s availability.
