Eddie Howe hoping to see his team make it eight wins in a row, after picking up their seventh victory on the trot, in midweek at Arsenal.

Official Newcastle United injury update – Availability for the Bromley match and beyond:

Eddie Howe on potential squad rotation for this FA Cup match:

“We knew going into the Arsenal game the lads that had played the majority of the minutes were in a good place mentally but physically they were a little bit tired.

We knew we would have to rotate our squad but we’ve got very good players that are desperate to play and desperate to show their qualities.

“It’s a good game for them to showcase those qualities but also we have to get through so we have to pick a strong enough squad.”

Eddie Howe on Alexander Isak after the Head Coach said after Arsenal, that the striker had felt his hamstring during Tuesday’s match, one of the players subbed off midway through the second half for fresh legs:

“He’s seeing his physio at the moment and we’ve given him a couple of days rest but we think he’s in a good place and he’ll report back tomorrow.

“We would have probably involved him in some way [against Bromley] but with what’s happened he’ll probably be given this game to rest and get himself right for our future schedule.”

Sven Botman was said to have groin tightness during the Arsenal match but played for the full match.

Eddie Howe stating this morning that the Dutch defender is “doing well, fingers crossed no ill effects.”

Willock, Murphy and Gordon were the other three subbed off during that League Cup match second-half, however, Eddie Howe reporting no new injuries for that trio, nor indeed anybody else.

Fabian Schar and Bruno are now free from suspension and likely to start you would suspect.

Whilst Pope, Lascelles, Wilson and Krafth have been out long-term. Interesting to see when one or more of these will return, with Eddie Howe having previously indicated that Nick Pope is the one most likely to return ahead of the other three, with Krafth not far behind.

Obviously a lot of squad players will be itching for their chance on Sunday, so with squad rotation against this League Two side in the FA Cup, the likes of Longstaff, Kelly, Barnes, Almiron, Vlachodimos, Trippier, Osula, Lewis Miley and Targett, all waiting for the call.
