AC Milan have announced that Francesco Camarda has signed his first professional contract with the club, a deal that will run until 2027.
A statement on the official website confirms what has been rumours for some weeks now: the young striker has put pen to paper on a three-year contract, and they also outlined the plan for his immediate future.
Born in Milan on 10 March 2008, Camarda joined the Rossoneri youth academy at the age of seven and his unbelievable goal scoring record in the younger age groups went viral. He helped the U15s win the Scudetto and has gradually risen from there.
He spent last season with the Primavera side full-time, making a total of 41 appearances and scoring 14 goals across the league, UEFA Youth League, and Coppa Italia Primavera.
On 25 November 2023, at the age of 15 years, 8 months, and 16 days, he became the youngest player ever to debut in Serie A in a home match against Fiorentina. He also made a second appearance at San Siro against Frosinone.
Camarda played in the U17 European Championship with the Italian national team and he scored four times as the Azzurini won it and he got Player of the Tournament. He is now at the U19 Euros and scored twice against hosts Northern Ireland on Thursday night.
Francesco will continue his adventure with the Rossoneri in Milan Futuro and will remain with the club until 30 June 2027.
