With just two matches remaining before the season comes to an end, EA Sports has officially released the 2023/24 La Liga Team of the Season.

As the runaway title winners, Real Madrid players, needless, to say have dominated this team that comprises some of the top performers in La Liga this season.

Five Real Madrid players in La Liga TOTS

As a matter of fact, a total of five Real Madrid players have been included in La Liga’s Team of the Season, the club confirmed on X.

Perhaps a more surprising thing was the inclusion of three Barcelona players in the lineup, including Robert Lewandowski, who has been in patchy form this season.

Shifting focus back to Real Madrid, the defensive duo of Antonio Rudiger and Dani Carvajal have both been included in La Liga’s Team of the Season.

Rudiger has been one of the best-performing centre-backs in La Liga this term, playing a crucial role alongside Carvajal in helping Los Blancos register the best defensive record in the league.

Moving on in midfield, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham make the Team of the Season as well, with Bellingham, in particular, emerging as Real Madrid’s standout performer.

With 19 goals and six assists in 27 league matches, Bellingham is also a top contender for the Ballon d’Or award. Valverde, too, has impressed, racking up two goals and seven assists.

Finally, Vinicius Junior completes the list after yet another extraordinary campaign for Real Madrid, where he scored 15 goals while mustering six assists. Vinicius, too, is a strong Ballon d’Or contender, alongside his teammate Bellingham.
