An ‘official bid’ has been made in one of the transfer sagas of this transfer window so far, one that has been going pretty much since day one.

The window has been really odd for Chelsea. With just nine days left, they are still ‘pondering’ and assessing making moves and what options to take, and yet they have still failed to make any sales this window which was always supposed to be the priority.

There is some time left though, and they can at least get one transfer saga done and dusted. We have heard about Cesare Casadei going to Serie A from Chelsea this month constantly, pretty much every other day there is a new story out on it. And this week has been no different with stories.

We keep hearing that he is supposed to be joining Torino this month. However, Lazio have now come in and looked to pip this deal and hijack it to get Casadei to join them instead.

And they want to do this so bad that they have now made their official offer to Chelsea apparently.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put his latest out on what he is hearing on this one.

Romano reports that Lazio’s official bid for Cesare Casadei is £10.9m plus a sell-on clause included. Chelsea’s decision will be made this week.

No rush Chelsea. I mean this one has only been going on all transfer window so far! I think everyone will be pleased when it’s finally over, even though it has been one of the less exciting transfer sagas that Chelsea have been involved with over recent times.
