La Liga giants Real Madrid have unveiled their squad for the club’s next outing at the Club World Cup.
And it features, as expected, a number of noteworthy absentees.
Real Madrid are primed to return to action in the early hours of Friday morning, when they lock horns with Austrian outfit RB Salzburg.
As much comes as Los Blancos’ third and final group stage fixture at the Club World Cup.
As things stand, Xabi Alonso’s troops sit joint-top of the Group H table, alongside their upcoming opponents.
With Al-Hilal just two points behind, though, Real will be aware that avoiding defeat is of paramount importance on Friday.
Those of a Blancos persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be interested to hear of the group of players set to be tasked with as much being revealed.
As expected, the unwell Kylian Mbappé, and suspended Raúl Asencio, miss out.
Also nowhere to be seen are a number of long-term injury absentees, from Eduardo Camavinga to Dani Carvajal, David Alaba and Éder Militão.
Featuring once more, though, are several up-and-coming young talents, as well as summer signings, with Real Madrid’s squad to face Salzburg showcased in full below:
