Nottingham Forest 'working' on a deal to sign Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah

Nottingham Forest are reportedly working on a deal to sign Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah before the end of the window.

Nketiah is seemingly surplus to requirement at the Emirates this season having previously agreed to join Marseille earlier in the summer.

The Gunners and the French side couldn’t come to a deal over Nketiah’s fee but now the Athletic claim that the 25-year-old could be heading to Forest.

Their report claims that an initial bid worth £25m was rejected by Arsenal but that Forest are prepared to come back in for the England youth international.

Arsenal believed to be holding out for a fee in the region of £35m for the striker who is contracted until 2027.
