Reports indicate that Inter Milan are still in the race to sign Lille striker Jonathan David.

The Canadian international is available on a free transfer this summer. And Inter are still thinking about making the most of the opportunity.

However, reports the Gazzetta, Jonathan David is not the only striker Inter are targeting.

Bologna striker Santiago Castro has also marked himself out as a major target for Inter, reports the Gazzetta.

The Argentine has been one of the real breakout stars of the Serie A season, in terms of forwards.

And Inter are certain that Castro has the right profile for their attack. Moreover, the fact that he is twenty years of age means that he fits well in their ideal age profile.

However, Castro will not come cheap. Bologna will certainly demand a significant fee for the Argentine.

Moreover, it could be hard to convince the Rossoblu to sell the 20-year-old should they get another season of Champions League football.
