‘Can you not play well and still win 5-1?!??

That’s how it felt today against a poor Premier League team who are on their way back to the Championship.

Credit goes the players after going behind, Isak getting the ball rolling with yet another clinical finish.

On a day that Bruno looked a bit under par he stills comes away with a massive contribution in the game, a world class player who I hope will be with us for a long time to come.

On we go to Burnley and hopefully a decent away performance.’

Simon Ritter:

‘Eddie Howe said in his pre-match press conference there were no easy games in the Premier League, not even against relegation certainties.

For more than 45 minutes his team seemed determined to prove the head coach was right again.

Sheffield United’s early lead would have been far bigger if not for Dubravka, Burn and some wayward finishing.

But when the teams turned round and the Magpies attacked the Gallowgate End, our fortunes were transformed.

Isak again showed he’s a supreme marksman.

No wonder so-called bigger clubs covet the Swede.

With Hall and Livramento starting, then Alex Murphy coming off the subs’ bench for the final 15 minutes, the fans were treated to glimpses of the future. It’s looking bright.’

David Punton:

‘Destroyed them second half.

As bad as we were in the opening 45, we were a different prospect after a half time rollicking.

Isak adding to his tally and the returning Callum Wilson joined in the fun too.

Relegation confirmed for the Blades and that’s 13 we’ve stuck past them this season.

The late run for Europe back on track after that midweek defeat.

Flag display was immense today too.’

GToon:

‘Huge win today but yet another injury. Hopefully Schar is ok.

We are becoming a bit unpredictable in games with the bottom team roasting us from the start and then we turn it round.

Nice result at manyoo too.

Happy days are here again.’

Bazoox:

‘Great result after a little unexpected set-back to begin with.

The rest of the scores have went our way too.

Our Rolls Royce needs one more goal to hit the magic 20 in the Prem.

I’m so happy I’m going to crack a 30 year old malt.

Bring them all on until the end of the season.’

Tony Mallabar:

‘Great result for us after Wednesday and so good wor callum got back on the score sheet again.

It’s just a shame the lad gets injured so often, because in my opinion he’s the best finisher we’ve had since Imre Varadi.

Now it’s off to Burnley next week and hopefully we can come back with 3 points and really push for another season of European football, as I’ve already got the translation dictionary out looking for what’s Latvian for snakebite.’

Billy Miller:

‘Timid, nervous performance in the first half. Party in the second.

13-1 on aggregate against this side.

Elsewhere Man United only got a point at home to Burnley.

This chase for 6th will go to the wire.’

Matt Busby said to Joe Harvey…:

’13-1 on aggregate. Not bad at all.

Poor first half but in less than twenty minutes at the beginning of the second half we kicked the Blades into next week.

Great to see Man United drop two points but we need to be at it next week when we play their opponents from today.

Looking forward to having a very pleasant evening. HTL.’
