The draw for the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals has been made with Italy set to face Germany in the pick of the ties.
Luciano Spalletti’s side surrendered top spot in their group after defeat to France this month and have now been handed a date with Germany in the last eight. The draw was made up of the four group winners and runners-up from League A in 2024/25.
Quarter-finals have been introduced into the Nations League for the first time this season and Croatia will take on France in a rematch of the 2018 World Cup final.
The Netherlands have been drawn to face Nations League holders and Euro 2024 winner Spain, while Denmark meet Portugal.
The ties will take place over two legs, home and away, during March’s international break on the 20th and 23rd.
