Serie A side Napoli are set to negotiate with Manchester United for Scott McTominay this summer.

According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla, Napoli have identified Scott McTominay as a potential summer signing due to Antonio Conte’s request. Sporting Director Giovanni Manna is in London to stage talks with the player’s agent to understand their demands.

A meeting with Manchester United is scheduled to happen in the next few days but the initial offer is set to be around €25 million with possible bonuses. However, the Partenopei are still waiting to listen to United’s asking price for the Scotsman.

Napoli have blocked negotiations for Billy Gilmour and David Neres as they wanted to have a technical midfielder. McTominay perfectly suits their needs and a solution is expected to be reached soon with the Premier League side.

The Neapolitans want to reverse the performances from last season and become a significant force in this one by adding a host of talented players in their squad to avoid any crisis mid-season.
