Napoli making progress in move for Sevilla’s Juanlu Sanchez | OneFootball

Serie A champions Napoli are working to improve their wing-back areas and have made progress in a move for Sevilla’s Juanlu Sanchez.

AreaNapoli have reported that Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is working on two Spanish defenders. Sanchez is one and Almeria’s Marc Pubill is another player being looked at.

There is an agreement over personal terms with the Sevilla right-back, whose entourage is now pushing the Andalusians to sell the player to Napoli.

Manna has been in Spain since yesterday to iron out the details and he wants to be quick about signing Sanchez because his value might rise during the U21 Euros. Napoli are offering €15 million for him, with Sevilla’s demand at €20 million.

Manna also spoke to Pubill’s agent about a transfer and while the Almeria star would be more affordable, Conte prefers a move for Sanchez.
