Now officially an AS Roma player for a few days, Neil El Aynaoui is making it clear he's ready to don the colors of Morocco's Atlas Lions.

Tied to AS Roma, Neil El Aynaoui seems poised to take another step forward—not just at club level, but also on the international stage. Speaking Saturday after a friendly against his former club, the Moroccan made no secret of his ambition to represent Morocco: "Yes, of course. I work hard at my club. I’ve had the opportunity to play with Morocco’s youth teams... I’m focused on performing in Rome, and the rest will follow," he declared.

Up to now, El Aynaoui had missed several call-ups, notably last June due to injury. A potential appearance at AFCON 2025, set to take place on home soil, could soon become a reality.
