Bristol City target Luke Cundle has taken a big step towards completing his £1m move from Wolves to Millwall.
Cundle has been expected to move before the transfer window shuts on Monday evening and a host of Championship sides have been in the mix for his signature.
Bristol City have been keen to put him at the disposal of Liam Manning, but it is Millwall, under Alex Neil, who are firmly on course to scoop up the Wolves man.
A £1m fee between Wolves and Millwall has been agreed and now, according to the South London Press, Cundle has passed his medical at the Den.
He is a step closer to completing the move and the chances of there being any deal hijack by another club now look all but over.
All eyes are now on whether Millwall will be able to get the deal done in time to register Cundle for this weekend.
The Lions are in action against QPR at the Den and Neil could have Cundle for the clash.
If he does not make the cut then it could be a baptism of fire for the midfielder in the FA Cup against Leeds United.
