Milan to make new offer to Spurs for Emerson Royal | OneFootball

Milan are preparing a revised offer to Tottenham Hotspur, for their 25-year-old full-back Emerson Royal.

The Rossoneri has been tracking the Brazilian international since the termination of last season and according to Relevo (via tuttomercatoweb) will head back to North London with a revised offer this week.

The portal states that Milan will table a new bid in excess of €15M with the player having already giving the green-light on a move to Serie A.

New coach Paulo Fonseca, who arrived in the city over the weekend and will start pre-season training from Monday, is also a fan of the player who arrived in Europe by signing for Barcelona from Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro in January 2019.

He was then immediately sent out to Real Betis for the following two seasons before returning to the Camp Nou in the summer of 2021, before Spurs paid the Catalan giants €25M to secure his services.

Royal, who made 22 appearances in the Premier League last season, is reported to have already agreed a five-year deal with the Rossoneri, worth €3M per season.
