Once rumored to be on his way out, Eric Traoré will ultimately remain in Egypt. The Burkina Faso international has extended his contract with Ismaily SC for one more season, keeping him at the club until June 2026.

This is a surprising turn of events for the 29-year-old midfielder, who will continue to wear the yellow colors next season. Zambro Sport Management, the agency handling the deal, has confirmed the news.

"With this new one-year contract, the Burkina Faso international will once again have the opportunity to showcase his talent," the agency stated. This extension is a testament to the ongoing trust between both parties.
