Memphis Depay has returned to the Corinthians training ground. The attacker was absent from training earlier this week, prompting an angry reaction from the club. Brazilian media subsequently saw Memphis return to training, as scheduled.
Memphis was not given leave to skip training on Wednesday and has found himself disciplined by Corinthians. That said, Brazilian media now claim that both the club and the player consider it a closed matter. Memphis was reportedly absent due to a payment default by the club, but was back on the pitch in good spirits on Friday.

Corinthians are now working towards the resumption of the Brazilian league. After a month-long summer break, during which clubs like Flamengo and Fluminense turned heads at the Club World Cup, Corinthians will play Red Bull Bragantino on Monday night.
