Marcus Rashford is undergoing his medical ahead of his loan move to Aston Villa from Manchester United.
It has been well reported in the media that the England International is a target of Unai Emery’s and that he would be welcome to play in the Champions League.
The deal will be an initial loan but Villa will have an option to make the deal permanent in the summer for £40,000,000, according to The Athletic.
Villa will reportedly pay three-quarters of Rashford’s £350,000 weekly wage which could rise to 90% based on a performance-based bonus.
Rashford has struggled at Manchester United recently and has failed to play a single game since the appointment of Ruben Amorim in November.
The forward has scored 138 goals for Manchester United, scoring over 20 in a season on three occasions. He also has 17 goals in 60 appearances for England.
Marcus has been open in the past about his struggles with mental health so getting out of Old Trafford and starting a fresh start could be just what the forward needs.
