Manchester United make the trip to City Ground this evening to take on the high-flying Nottingham Forest.
Ruben Amorim will want his team to build on the momentum of a four-match unbeaten run that has included Europa League progress and an emphatic win at Leicester City. United remain in the Premier League’s bottom half, but have plenty to play for with a looming European quarter-final against Lyon.
The Red Devils face a Forest team who have exceeded all expectations this season. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are third in the table and chasing Champions League qualification. At the weekend, Forest beat Brighton on penalties to reach the FA Cup semi-finals.
Amorim delivered a positive update on his squad on Monday. Addressing the media, he confirmed that Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro are available for the clash. The 40-year-old also alleviated concerns over Ayden Heaven’s injury after the teenager was stretchered off before the international break.
Patrick Dorgu is back from suspension and Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo are nearing returns. Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez (ACL) remain long-term absentees.
Man United predicted XI: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire; Dalot, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dorgu; Garnacho, Zirkzee, Hojlund.
Nottingham Forest host Manchester United in the Premier League on Tuesday 1st April 2025. Kick-off at the City Ground is 20:00 BST.
The clash will be shown on TNT Sports in the UK.
