Manchester United have placed Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka on their shortlist of potential options.
Ruben Amorim and his recruitment team are assessing the goalkeeper market and Bulka is a player under consideration. The Poland international has just 12 months remaining on his deal in France and could be available for a cut-price fee.
Nice are understood to want around €15m (£12.7m) for Bulka, who was subject of a failed approach from Galatasaray last month. Aston Villa and AC Milan have also considered Bulka amid uncertainty surrounding their goalkeepers.
Bulka ranked third in Ligue 1 for save percentage last season as Nice secured Champions League qualification. The 6ft 6in shot-stopper ranks in the top 20% of goalkeepers across Europe for crosses stopped and percentage of long passes completed.
The 26-year-old has been linked with multiple clubs in England, with Manchester United the latest to weigh up a move. Transfer journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that no decision has been made on Andre Onana’s future, with the Red Devils still undecided on whether to sign competition for the Cameroonian or a new number one. Onana has not been told that he does not feature in Amorim’s plans for next season.
Manchester United are also interested in Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. The Argentina international is expected to leave Villa Park this summer, as part of the club’s bid to raise funds for summer business.
Atletico Madrid are also tracking his situation, with Martinez likely to be a casualty of Villa’s need to remain PSR compliant.
