Manchester City earned their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with their hard-fought 2-1 win over Leyton Orient at the Gaughan Group Stadium. It wasn’t an easy game for Pep Guardiola’s side, but come the final whistle, they had achieved their goal of progressing in the competition. The draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup has taken place tonight and City will take on Plymouth Argyle at the Etihad Stadium in March.

Manchester City have beaten Salford City and Leyton Orient to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup. Pep Guardiola’s side easily beat Salford City 8-nil at the Etihad in the third round. They had to fight their way past Leyton Orient on Saturday. But with that job done they will face the giant killers of this season’s FA Cup.

Plymouth Argyle have beaten Brentford and Liverpool to earn a trip to the Etihad in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Although they sit bottom of the Championship they have been impressive in the FA Cup this season. Based on their impressive victories over Brentford and Liverpool Plymouth Argyle will not lie down at the Etihad for Manchester City.

Manchester City will take on Plymouth Argyle on the first weekend of March. The kickoff time and date will confirmed in due time.
