The next batch of Manchester City academy starlets may be on their way out of the Etihad Stadium, with a new report revealing growing transfer interest.

Pep Guardiola and those keeping a close eye on the development of players within the club’s academy ranks have seen a number of talents slip through the net in recent years and go on to become some of the very best players in the game.

Not all of those names have gone without securing Manchester City excellent finances however, and the club themselves would point towards the City Football Academy production system as being an excellent source of revenue.

Among the names to have gone on to succeed throughout the game are Jadon Sancho, Cole Palmer, Liam Delap, Morgan Rogers, Romeo Lavia, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.

And now, it appears as though Manchester City’s high-flying Academy system – which is consistently monitored for exciting talents by rival clubs – is attracting new transfer interest both close to home and further afield.

That is according to the information of MailSport’s Sami Mokbel, who reveals that Manchester City’s exciting academy duo Jaden (19) and Reigan Heskey (16) are attracting transfer interest from within the Premier League and on the continent.

It is explained that the sons of former England striker, Emile Heskey have earned plaudits for their performances for Manchester City’s youth sides, and are now regarded as two of the best emerging talents in the Premier League champions’ youth set-up.

At present, there is no indication of which specific clubs are showing a transfer interest in either of the talents.

Jaden Heskey, an attacking midfielder, has already caught the eye of Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola having been included in the club’s pre-season tour squad for the United States excursion last summer.

As for Reigan Heskey, a wide forward, he recently scored in an EFL trophy tie against Grimsby Town back in October, and his goalscoring form boasts a tally of 15 goals and seven assists in just 18 games across all competitions for Manchester City’s youth teams so far this season.

Manchester City officials would be the first to credit their Academy system for the role it plays in generating consistent record-breaking revenues for the club too, with the Premier League champions recently announcing such a feat for the third consecutive year.

Following the release of the club’s Annual Report for the 2023/24 season, Manchester City announced in the last week that they had seen their club revenues increase to £715 million, with sustained profitability at £73.8 million.
