Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United had to reschedule Patrick Dorgu’s medical tests due to documents and contracts that had yet to be completed, but the player is expected to fly to England over the weekend.

Manchester United had to reschedule Dorgu’s medical tests before a €37m transfer from Lecce, but the deal is not at risk of collapsing.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils had to change the date for Dorgu’s medical to complete paperwork, but the Denmark international is still expected to undergo examinations in England over the weekend.

Dorgu’s Lecce will play a crucial match against Parma at the Stadio Tardini on Friday, and the 20-year-old is not expected to be involved.

Dorgu has three goals and one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions this season.

He’ll become the seventh Serie A player to move to Old Trafford in the last four years. The Red Devils have invested over €250m to sign players from Italy’s top flight since 2021.
