Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for their midfielder Dan Gore who was considered one of their most promising academy products in recent years.
The 20-year-old was closely associated with Kobbie Mainoo, as the two players formed an impressive midfield partnership while climbing through the ranks.
But while the latter went on to become a first-team regular and even scored in the FA Cup final against Man City, Gore has been struggling with a never-ending injury nightmare.
The Manchester native spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign at Port Vale, but only made a single appearance after succumbing to injury on his debut.

Gore then had to undergo shoulder surgery last summer which kept him on the shelf for several months. In January, he joined Rotherham on loan, but he left his then-manager stunned after sustaining what the latter painted as a bizarre knock.
“He worked for two days in the team and went home from training on Friday feeling good,” said former Rotherham head coach Steve Evans.
“I got a call from the medical staff to say that he’d woken up with his foot really sore. It’s unbelievable. We didn’t do enough in training for him to have a sore nose, let alone a sore foot.”
In the end, Gore only made three appearances in League One during his brief loan spell.
Therefore, Manchester World journalist Rich Fay reveals that Man United will allow the youngster to leave on a permanent basis this summer if they receive an appropriate offer.
But the good news for Gore is that he still has several suitors, as revealed by Rotherham’s current manager Matt Hamshaw. The latter also added that the midfielder is appreciated by Ruben Amorim, and also has a foreign market.
Moreover, Hamshaw said that it would be ‘amazing’ if Rotherham managed to find a new accord with Man Utd that would allow them to keep the Englishman in South Yorkshire.
