Paris Saint-Germain have been building stronger connections with Portugal through sporting advisor Luis Campos, bringing in players like Vitinha, João Neves, and Gonçalo Ramos.
However, when the summer transfer window opens, Manchester United will look to beat them to a young talent they’ve both been linked with.
PSG, along with Manchester City and Manchester United, are keeping a close eye on 17-year-old Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon, according to a previous report by Foot Mercato.
Manchester United’s interest stands out, especially since their manager, Rúben Amorim, previously managed Sporting. The Athletic recently reported that United are planning a summer move for Quenda, with Amorim eager to reunite with the young talent.
Furthermore, the teenager is expected to cost around €40 million (£33.4 million).

TEAMtalk reported on Wednesday, citing sources, that Quenda himself is keen on a move to Old Trafford because of Amorim. Moreover, the Manchester United manager has been a significant driver of the deal.
Manchester United want Quenda and winter transfer arrival Patrick Dorgu at the club, with the two players able to operate on either flank.
Quenda has an £83 million release clause in his contract at Sporting, but with his future looking increasingly away from the club, it’s likely a deal could be struck for less.
