Manchester United have made contact with Napoli over a swap deal involving Marcus Rashford and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a report has claimed.
Having lost his place in the squad under new head coach Ruben Amorim, Rashford has been made available for transfer this month, but United are yet to receive anything other than loan interest from sides unable to meet their financial demands.
AC Milan have dominated headlines but Rashford could find himself heading to another part of Italy as L'Equipe state talks are on with Napoli over an astronomical swap deal.
Napoli are reported to be open to cashing in on Kvaratskhelia for the right price and are even said to be engaging in talks with United about a possible swap for Rashford, who is one of Antonio Conte's targets to reinforce his attack.
Complicating this one for United is concrete interest in Kvaratskhelia from Paris Saint-Germain, who have reignited their pursuit of the Georgia international from the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano notes Napoli are also in direct contact with PSG, who are proposing their own swap deal. Centre-back Milan Skriniar is named as a potential makeweight.
Napoli have offered Kvaratskhelia a new contract but the 23-year-old, whose current deal expires in 2027, but he has not given a response as he weighs up all the options available to him.
