Man Utd chief scout 'pushing' for club to sign Benjamin Šeško | OneFootball

Manchester United's head of recruitment has reportedly put all of his weight behind RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško this summer.

United are on the hunt for a new goalscorer with current forward Rasmus Højlund have struggled for confidence and goals since his arrival from Atalanta.

As such, the Old Trafford outfit are believed to be in the market for another centre-forward with a number of names having been linked over the past few weeks.

But reports in Sport Bild in Germany have claimed that United's chief scout, Christian Vivell, has zoned in on Slovenia international Šeško.

The 21-year-old has been a revelation in Leipzig over the past couple of seasons and has been heavily linked with a switch to Arsenal since January.

Bild though, claim that United are ready to make him their number one target and are not put off by Leipzig's €100m asking price.

Šeško currently has 19 goals in all competitions this term.
