Manchester City have the chance to secure a domestic double this weekend when they face local rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

Pep Guardiola's side travel to Wembley on Saturday afternoon having been crowned Premier League champions last weekend with their 3-1 win over West Ham United, Phil Foden inspiring the Cityzens to a record fourth successive English top-flight title.

This weekend's showpiece event is the second Manchester derby FA Cup final in a row, with Man City triumphing in the capital a year ago. Ilkay Gundogan's brace meant the bragging rights and trophy returned to the Etihad, with the world champions also coming out on top in both meetings in the Premier League this season.

With an almost fully fit squad at his disposal, here is how Guardiola could line his Man City side up at Wembley.

GK: Stefan Ortega - With Ederson sidelined through injury, Ortega is guaranteed to start at Wembley. Having produced the save that won Man City the Premier League title against Tottenham, he will be aiming to replicate his heroics in the capital.

RB: Kyle Walker - Offering great leadership and blistering pace to Man City's backline, the 33-year-old may come up against compatriot Marcus Rashford or the tricky Alejandro Garnacho this weekend. Either way, few wingers cause Walker too many problems.

CB: Ruben Dias - Rasmus Hojlund won't be relishing a battle up against the resolute Dias this Saturday, with Man City's Portuguese star always reliable on the big stage.

CB: Manuel Akanji - Undoubtedly one of the best value for money signings of the past decade, Akanji should retain his starting spot despite some pressure from the returning Nathan Ake.

LB: Josko Gvardiol - Having netted five goals in his last nine matches, Gvardiol has had an immense impact on Man City's late season form. The Croatian will be aiming to add a second English trophy to his cabinet this weekend.

CM: Rodri - The man for the big occasion, Rodri once again provided a crucial strike in the 3-1 win over West Ham last weekend. His effort stopped a brief Hammers comeback and it's tough to bet against him adding to his tally at Wembley.

CM: Mateo Kovacic - The former Chelsea man was sent off in the 2019/20 FA Cup final with the Blues and will want to avoid the same fate this weekend. He offers great balance to midfield and can break the lines with his powerful runs.

RW: Bernardo Silva - Another big-game player for Man City, it was the Portuguese's strike that sent the Cityzens to the final. His tireless energy will be key for the holders.

AM: Kevin De Bruyne - Casemiro will be having nightmares about the prospect of facing the influential Belgian, with the latter aiming to take advantage of a misfiring Man Utd midfield.

LW: Phil Foden - Having been crowned Premier League Player of the Season and bagged a beautiful brace to win Man City the title last weekend, Foden will be looking to add to his impressive tally against Man Utd. He has often come up clutch this term and has netted six times in 12 games against the Red Devils.

ST: Erling Haaland - Having often been accused of being a flat-track bully, Saturday could provide Haaland the perfect opportunity to be the match-winner in a major final.
