Corentin Tolisso (30) is out of Olympique Lyonnais’ match against AS Monaco on Saturday night due to a recurrence of the knee injury that he sustained against AS Saint-Étienne.
Tolisso was stretchered off in the loss against Saint-Étienne on 20th April. At the time of the injury, it was thought that Lyon’s vice-captain would be out until the end of the campaign. However, he made a miraculous return just one week later. But a relapse will see him miss the game against Monaco at the Stade Louis II. It is a key fixture for OL, one on which their hopes of UEFA Champions League football lie.
With the Frenchman once again struggling with an issue in his right knee, he will be out this weekend, whilst he is also a doubt to face SCO Angers on the final day of the Ligue 1 season. For the match against the Principality club, Lyon can at least count on the return of Alexandre Lacazette, who missed last weekend’s defeat to RC Lens through suspension.
