Locatelli available for Juventus in Club World Cup

Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli is expected to recover in time for the Club World Cup, starting in less than two weeks, while Douglas Luiz returned to group training today.
Locatelli suffered an ankle injury while on international duty with the Italy national team, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the Azzurri midfielder is expected to be available for Juventus for the Club World Cup.
The Bianconeri will make their debut against Al Ain on June 18, before meeting Wydad on June 22 and Manchester City on June 26.

According to Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Douglas Luiz is also expected to be available for Juventus, having returned to group training on Tuesday morning.
Teun Koopmeiners is recovering and partially trained with the rest of the team today.
Coach Igor Tudor will lead the team during the summer competition, as his contract was automatically extended to 2026 following the Bianconeri’s Champions League qualification.

“The Men’s First Team were back on the training pitch at Continassa this Tuesday (3 June) morning, with sights now set on the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States of America. The Bianconeri will take on Al Ain, Wydad AC and Manchester City in the group stage of the tournament.
“Tuesday morning was focused on ball possession, and then small-sided matches in the second half of the session.
“Wednesday will see the Bianconeri train again in the morning.”
