Liverpool are making some big statements this summer, with serious negotiations taking place for three players before the transfer window has even opened.
One of those is Jeremie Frimpong, who flew into Liverpool yesterday to complete his move from Leverkusen after a successful medical with the club last week.

Another is Milos Kerkez, who has reportedly agreed personal terms, and an update on his future is expected to come later this week, now that his Premier League season with Bournemouth has concluded.
But the main deal on the table right now is for Florian Wirtz, a 22-year old German playmaker who is likely to break the club's record transfer fee. An entire saga with the player has unfolded over the last few weeks, but his preference is believed to be Liverpool over Bayern Munich.
As you would expect, those three deals are taking up a lot of the recruitment team's workforce right now, but the club's transfer business is not about to stop there. Further signings are expected to follow.

According to Lewis Steele and Dominic King at the Daily Mail, the Reds' hopes for a new striker are not lost quite yet.
Their report claims: "After signing Wirtz in what would be a club-record deal, Liverpool will turn their attention to signing a No. 9 and look to see Darwin Nunez to raise funds to do so.
"Confidential reported in March that Hugo Ekitike of Eintracht Frankfurt had been closely monitored, while there have also been links with the likes of Benjamin Sesko at RB Leipzig and Julian Alvarez at Atletico Madrid."
Of course, the specific fund that Liverpool will have to spend on a striker are still unknown, and seemingly, the budget for a new No. 9 will depend on Darwin Nunez, this is still an extremely positive update.
