Liverpool can complete more transfer deals after the Premier League deadline and here's why.

It's over. The summer of Richard Hughes has ended. And what a summer it has been. Liverpool fans have been thoroughly entertained throughout the window.

After winning the Premier League, few could have predicted that this side could become even stronger. But Hughes has delivered reinforcements many will not have envisaged were possible.

The Reds have added one of the best young players in the world in Florian Wirtz. They've also signed one of the most prolific forwards in the Premier League in Alexander Isak. Hugo Ekitike has arrived as one of the best young forwards in Europe.

And they've bolstered their defensive department by bringing in Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Giovanni Leoni.

Even just a couple of those signings would be a fantastic window for the Reds. But to pull off so many world-class talent in one go is very impressive.

Obviously, it would not be Liverpool without summer deadline day drama. Marc Guehi was supposed to be the icing on the cake for the Reds.

That deal fell through after Palace failed to bring in a replacement. With the window shut, Guehi will remain at Palace, for now.

But in the future, it's still very likely that he ends up at Liverpool.

As for the club's transfer activity. It may not end with the window shutting. While most European markets are now closed, there are some windows that are still open.

And there are some Liverpool players who may yet leave.

Most notably, the Reds were looking for a permanent home for Rhys Williams and Calvin Ramsey, but may even accept a loan move for the latter.

Kaide Gordon was a transfer that was supposed to happen on deadline day with the youngster potentially moving to Blackpool on loan but that deal fell through.

There are others who could also be leaving the club on loan. Trent Kone-Doherty definitely deserves a loan move. As thus Kieran Morrison and Wellity Lucky.

Fabian Mrozek who has had loan spells away from Liverpool is still at the club right now but may yet leave.

But with the English window shut, where could they go?

Well, the Eredivisie window shuts close on Tuesday night. The Hungarian window is open until Wednesday night. Meanwhile, Belgium and Switzerland are open until Monday the 8th September.

Turkey and Greece's transfer deadlines are on 12th September. The Serbian Super League is open until the 17th September and the Saudi Pro League's transfer deadline is on the 23rd September.

All these competitions may yet offer alternative solutions for Liverpool's players on the fringes. And Richard Hughes could yet strike a deal for Liverpool after the deadline has now shut.
