Barely a month after lifting the Premier League trophy in his debut season, Arne Slot is wasting no time in shaping Liverpool into a dominant European force. According to a TeamTalk exclusive, Liverpool are on the verge of sealing a triple signing worth nearly £200 million, with Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, and Jeremie Frimpong all lined up to arrive at Anfield.
While the Wirtz deal leads the headlines at £109 million, it’s the broader strategy behind these moves that truly signals Liverpool’s intent. The club aren’t just refreshing – they’re rebuilding for long-term dominance.
Liverpool’s pursuit of Florian Wirtz, the creative heartbeat of Bayer Leverkusen, is almost complete. The 22-year-old German playmaker was instrumental in Leverkusen’s stunning 2024–25 Bundesliga campaign, contributing 10 goals and 13 assists in 31 games.
As TeamTalk reported: “Liverpool have submitted an offer of £109m for Wirtz and there is confidence that a deal will be finalised soon.”

Wirtz’s combination of vision, technique, and composure on the ball makes him a dream fit for Slot’s high-pressing, attack-minded philosophy. More than just numbers, Wirtz brings flair and maturity that belies his age – a player seemingly built for the Anfield stage.
While Wirtz might be grabbing the headlines, the £45 million move for Milos Kerkez could prove just as vital. Still only 21, the Bournemouth left-back has been tracked by Liverpool for some time, with TeamTalk revealing interest as far back as September 2024.
“Kerkez has given a resounding ‘yes’ to a move to Anfield, driven by his ambition to compete at the highest level and cement his place among Europe’s elite.”

The Hungarian international, known for his pace, dribbling and attacking instincts, contributed five assists for the Cherries this season. His profile fits neatly into the Liverpool mould of attacking full-backs, and with Andy Robertson’s contract expiring in 2026, this is a forward-thinking piece of business.
Importantly, Liverpool’s new sporting director Richard Hughes played a key role in signing Kerkez for Bournemouth in 2023. That relationship appears to be proving decisive again.
Flying under the radar slightly is the already-confirmed signing of Jeremie Frimpong for £30 million. The Dutch wing-back, also from Bayer Leverkusen, adds pace, aggression, and an eye for goal from wide areas – a hallmark of Slot’s tactical blueprint.
With Frimpong, Wirtz and Kerkez, Liverpool are recruiting young, athletic players who not only improve the starting XI but also push the squad closer to the Champions League-winning calibre that Slot clearly envisions.

“As the transfer window approaches, Liverpool’s double swoop for Wirtz and Kerkez signals a bold intent to dominate both domestically and in Europe.”
Liverpool’s summer strategy is smart and aggressive. All three signings are under 23, all come with elite-level potential, and all have experience at the top level. With the outgoing Jurgen Klopp era concluded with grace, Slot is now redefining Liverpool’s identity, prioritising high-energy, multi-functional players to fit his fast-paced game model.
With nearly £200 million already committed, it’s clear FSG are backing their new manager emphatically. And based on this early activity, there’s every reason to believe Liverpool’s dominance might only just be beginning.
This is everything we’ve been hoping for and more. After winning the league in his first season, Arne Slot hasn’t rested – he’s moved quickly and decisively. It shows he understands the demands of Liverpool fans: we want trophies, yes, but we want sustained success built on smart recruitment and youth development.
Florian Wirtz? This lad is the real deal. Just imagine him linking up with Salah, Szoboszlai and Nunez – the creativity and flair would be off the charts. We haven’t had a proper No.10 like him since Coutinho, and Wirtz might be even better.
Kerkez is a superb addition too. Robertson has been brilliant for us, but we need to plan ahead. Kerkez looks like he’s ready to hit the ground running, and his decision to join us over Real Madrid or City shows we’re still one of the biggest pulls in world football.
Frimpong? He’ll give Trent a serious run and could even play further forward if needed. The depth this gives us is mouth-watering. We’re not just preparing to defend our Premier League title – we’re building a dynasty.
With these signings and Slot’s tactical genius, who’s stopping us? Europe, be warned.
