Liverpool have reportedly made a firm offer for a French wonderkid. The Reds will hope to move forward from here.

Liverpool have some massive decisions to make at centre-back this summer. That's principally because of Ibrahima Konate's contract situation.

The Frenchman's deal expires in 2026, meaning we're about to enter the final year of it. Liverpool will need to either agree a new contract in the coming months or sell - if they don't want to lose another elite player for free.

But it's not just Konate with question marks over his future. Joe Gomez is another who could leave after a difficult season.

He was strongly linked with an exit last summer but nothing went through. We can all look forward to part two this time around.

Then there's Jarell Quansah. Quansah is in a difficult position at Liverpool.

He started last season as first-choice alongside Virgil van Dijk but last all of 45 minutes in that role. While he did finally find his form again towards the end of the campaign, there's a sense that Arne Slot doesn't rate him as highly as Jurgen Klopp did.

So again, there's a strong possibility that Quansah is sold this summer. There's certainly interest - and it even appears as though Liverpool have found a replacement.

Liverpool make 'concrete' offer

Liverpool have reportedly made a 'concrete offer' for Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal. The Moroccan teenager spent last season on loan with Amiens in the French second tier but it a Stade Rennais player

This comes from Le 360 Sport. They claim both Liverpool and Newcastle United are pushing hard to sign the 19-year-old centre-back this summer.

Newcastle have actually met with him, while Liverpool have made some sort of offer. Now, whether that's to the player's representatives or Rennes, we're not sure.
