Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are all facing uncertain futures at Anfield having entered the final year of their current deals at the club.

It's entirely possible all three could still renew. However, the clock is ticking for Hughes and at this point Liverpool will undoubtedly be drawing up a shortlist of candidates who they will deem good enough to replace the trio.
