Ligue 1 Predictions, Round 24
GFFN editor-in-chief Luke Entwistle and GFFN’s Raphaël Jucobin face off in our Ligue 1 predictions competition. It’s three points for a correct score, two points for a correct score difference, and one point for a correct result. Who will come out on top at the end of the season?

PSG’s march towards an unbeaten domestic season continued last week thanks to a 3-2 win over Lyon. They didn’t control the game in parts, as they have frequently done in recent months, but there was always a feeling that OL were at arm’s length and that PSG could always take their game to another level if required. With Marseille losing, PSG have an unassailable 13-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 with just 11 games remaining. There is no doubt that Luis Enrique’s side will be retaining their title at this point but, like last season, is there now a chance of seeing a drop-off in performance? PSG found themselves in a similar position last season as they put their eggs in the Champions League basket. They reached the semi-finals of that competition last year and, in their attempts to win it this time around, they must first dispatch Liverpool. The first leg of their Round of 16 encounter against the Premier League giants comes after the weekend game against Lille. Could PSG’s heads be elsewhere?
LOSC came out 2-1 winners against Monaco in what was a tight game of few chances. The difference was that Bruno Genesio’s side took their chances; the Principality club did not. Les Dogues have not been as spectacular going forward since Edon Zhegrova’s injury, whilst Jonathan David has also experienced a tail-off in form in recent weeks. Like PSG, Lille will also have an eye on their Champions League tie in midweek (against Borussia Dortmund). There are distractions for both sides but once again, it is hard to bet against PSG continuing their unbeaten run, at the very least, when they host LOSC.
