Jordan Blackwell reports for the Leicester Mercury that despite Jamie Vardy, Jannik Vestergaard, and Victor Kristiansen all missing last week’s game against Manchester United through injury, the trio should all be back against Arsenal.

The three players were only absent with “light injuries” to begin with, according to manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Blackwell claims they’ve all had plenty of time to recover from their knocks now.

Vardy and Kristiansen are expected to return to the starting lineup, with only Vestergaard’s starting spot under threat.

As well as the aforementioned trio, Wilfred Ndidi is available after returning to action last Friday.

Leicester lost eight of their nine Premier League matches during Ndidi’s hamstring injury absence, which is more games than they lost in the 15 he played. The midfielder also provided an assist against the Gunners in the reverse fixture.

That leaves just two absentees for Leicester against Arsenal, with Issahaku Fatawu out for the season and Ricardo Pereira not expected back before March.

With both squads fit, Arsenal would certainly expect to have the upper hand against struggling Leicester. The hosts will begin the weekend in 18th place, with the Gunners in 2nd.

But Arsenal are set to be missing Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz. The team will have significantly fewer options than in the 4-2 win over Leicester earlier this season.
