Madrid – LEGENDS, the largest collection in the history of world football, and Concacaf have joined forces to exclusively exhibit the complete kit worn by footballer Jorge Sánchez in the United States vs. Mexico match, corresponding to the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup final, held on July 6 at Houston’s NRG Stadium.
The kit—comprising the jersey, shorts, and socks—has become a symbol of one of the most anticipated matches on the international calendar. It will now be part of the LEGENDS collection, The Home of Football, presented by LALIGA, and will be featured as the “Piece of the Month” in the main hall, allowing fans to get closer to the recent history of national team football in the Americas.
"At LEGENDS, we work to preserve and share unique moments in football history. Giving fans the chance to admire the jersey Jorge Sánchez wore in such a significant final is an opportunity to relive the excitement of that match and bring the greatness of football closer to all visitors," said Laura Valdeolivas, CEO of LEGENDS.
Philippe Moggio, General Secretary of Concacaf, said: "We are very excited to begin this collaboration with LEGENDS, which represents a unique opportunity to bring fans from around the world closer to the region’s most important national team tournament. The 2025 Gold Cup Final was an extraordinary event that brought together over 70,000 supporters in Houston, who enjoyed an unparalleled experience and lived truly unforgettable moments."
Jorge Sánchez’s full kit and the official final match ball will be on display for the public for one month as part of the LEGENDS exhibition, located in the heart of Madrid, solidifying it as a global reference for preserving and sharing football heritage.
