Leeds yet to receive Illan Meslier offer, despite reports of imminent Turkey move | OneFootball

Leeds United are yet to receive an offer for Illan Meslier (25), despite reports of an imminent move to Turkey, Sky Sports News understands.

Meslier, previously linked with big clubs across Europe, has had a difficult couple of seasons at Leeds, to the extent that, towards the end of last season, he lost his place in the squad. His change in status at the Yorkshire club, coupled with his expiring deal, opens up the possibility of a summer departure.

Reports in Turkey have spoken of an impending move to Fenerbahçe. He is reportedly even due in Istanbul over the weekend to undergo a medical ahead of the move. However, as per Sky Sports News, Leeds are yet to receive a bid for the former France youth international.

Whilst the Frenchman does still have the possibility of leaving Leeds, recently promoted back to the Premier League, a move is not yet close.
