Leeds United have added Swiss international Noah Okafor to their squad, bringing him in from AC Milan in a deal understood to be worth up to £18 million (€20.7m).
The 25-year-old forward has signed a four-year contract at Elland Road and becomes the club’s ninth arrival of a very busy summer following their return to the Premier League.
Okafor, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Napoli and helped them to the Serie A title, first made the move to Milan from Red Bull Salzburg in 2023. During his time at the San Siro, he managed seven goals and five assists across 54 appearances.
His arrival further strengthens Daniel Farke’s attacking options as Leeds look to make an impact back in the top flight.
Speaking to the club's media team, Okafor said: “I think it's an amazing day, I'm really excited. As a kid, I dreamed of playing in the Premier League. That's why for me it was quite an easy decision.
“So I said, yeah, my football suits the Premier League, this is like a dream come true. I can't wait to step on the field.
“I heard that the Premier League is the best league in the world, it's so intense. I have loads of friends that played there or are playing there.
“I'm really, really excited. I can't wait, like I said before. I'm also ready for this new challenge.”
