Although tempted by the prospect of returning to Boca Juniors, Leandro Paredes is set to postpone his plans.
In recent days, the Roma midfielder was consistently linked with Boca as the Argentine side kept up the pressure on him, trying to get him to leave the Italian capital a few months in advance to the scheduled expiry date of his contract.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it has been decided that Paredes will remain in Italy until the end of the season.
Once the season is done, Paredes and Roma will agree to part ways, with the midfielder returning to his former club in Argentina as a free agent.
