Lazio are reportedly plotting moves to sign two players from Premier League side Chelsea in the January transfer window, as the Biancocelesti close in on a deal for Italy U21 star Cesare Casadei, while Juventus target Renato Veiga has now also become an option according to reports in Italy.
Though several Serie A sides have registered an interest in signing Casadei from Chelsea this month, Lazio have recently overtaken Torino in the race to land the 22-year-old’s signature.
According to reports on Wednesday, Lazio have surpassed Torino’s highest offer with a bid of €12m and a 10% sell-on clause.

However, according to the latest updates from Sky Sport Italia, Lazio are now also planning to hijack Juventus’s move for full-back Renato Veiga.
Chelsea had reportedly been seeking a fee in the region of €5m-€6m to send him out on loan for the remainder of the season, which Juventus were not too keen on.
Lazio, meanwhile, are plotting a bid to sign Veiga on a permanent deal in the January transfer window.
Chelsea have reportedly set the asking price at €25m, but the Acquile are reportedly prepared to offer €12m with an enormous 50% sell-on clause.
