Lazio have joined Ligue 1 side Marseille in the race for Rangers forward Hamza Igamane as interest in the 22-year-old heats up.
According to a report from TeamTalk, Lazio have shown interest in the Moroccan after an impressive first season in Scotland saw the youngster score 12 goals in 33 league matches.

The reports suggest that Rangers have set the asking price at €25 million for the player’s signature, with the Scottish side ready to turn a healthy profit after only signing Igamane from Moroccan side AS FAR for around €2.2 million last summer.
Rangers are reportedly open to negotiation but Lazio will face fierce competition from Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille, who have been in contact with the player’s entourage since the winter transfer window.
With Maurizio Sarri’s return as head coach for Lazio, the Biancocelesti are looking to the market to provide reinforcements for the Italian technician.

Lazio slumped to a disappointing seventh-placed finish this season; the Roman club missing out on European football after Fiorentina finished ahead of them on the basis of their head-to-head record.
